Polynucleotide treatments
Polynucleotides are a regenerative skin treatment that supports the skin's own quality: hydration, elasticity and overall resilience, rather than changing your features. They are used as a considered, course-based approach to gradually healthier-behaving skin. At MT Aesthetics they are administered by Marie, our Registered Nurse, after an individual consultation.
What polynucleotides do
Rather than adding volume or altering shape, polynucleotides work on the environment your skin cells live in, supporting hydration and elasticity from within. Improvement is gradual and natural-looking, which is precisely why people choose it.
- Planned as a short course, with sessions spaced weeks apart.
- Often considered for skin that looks tired, crepey or dehydrated.
- Whether it suits your skin is assessed individually at consultation.
What to expect afterwards
Small raised points, redness or light swelling where the skin was treated are common and usually settle within a day or two, with occasional pinpoint bruising possible. Aftercare is explained in person. Changes build gradually over the course, and results vary from person to person.
Frequently asked
Which product do you use?
Product choices are discussed privately at your consultation, where Marie can explain what she recommends for your skin and why. Australian advertising rules keep some product specifics out of public marketing, and we respect that.
How is this different from other skin treatments?
Polynucleotides focus on skin quality rather than surface exfoliation or resurfacing. They are often planned alongside treatments like microneedling or peels, which your consultation can map out.
How long until I notice something?
Gradually, across the course, rather than overnight. Skin quality changes are subtle by design. Timeframes are discussed honestly at consultation, and results vary.
How booking works
Consultation-first, always
Your care is designed to respect TGA and AHPRA guidance, with the same high standard of service throughout. For any medical aesthetic concern you start with a consultation, so your plan is built around you, honestly and in person.
