Skin texture and tone concern

Skin that feels rough, looks uneven under makeup, or shows enlarged pores and old acne marks is one of the most fixable frustrations in skin care, but the right path depends on what is actually driving it. At MT Aesthetics, Marie assesses your skin first, then builds a texture plan from treatments that suit it, paced realistically.

What drives texture

Dead surface build-up, dehydration, sun damage, old breakouts and simple genetics all roughen texture in different ways. Two people with 'bumpy skin' can need entirely different plans, which is why guessing from a website is a poor substitute for ten minutes under good light.

Treatments that may be part of your plan

Depending on your skin, a plan may draw on microneedling to encourage renewal from within, peels or microdermabrasion to clear the surface, PRP or PRF for a regenerative approach, and LED as calm support between sessions. Texture change is cumulative: expect a paced course with honest checkpoints, not an overnight promise. Results vary from person to person.

Frequently asked

How long before texture improves?

Texture responds over weeks and months, because it depends on the skin's own renewal cycles. A realistic timeframe for your plan is part of the consultation, and results vary.

Can you fix acne scarring?

Depth matters: surface unevenness responds differently from deeper scarring. Marie will give you an honest read at consultation about what is achievable for your skin and what is not.
